Le Cordon Bleu London is searching for some of the country’s most passionate aspiring chefs – regardless of age or location – giving them the chance to study in the world’s leading culinary arts institution.

Le Cordon Bleu UK Scholarship is about offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to the most passionate food and cooking enthusiast living in the United Kingdom.

The 2017 UK Scholarship winner will be awarded a place on our most prestigious course, the Grand Diplôme®. The 9 month course comprises two diplômes studied consecutively: the Diplôme de Pâtisserie and Diplôme de Cuisine.

Included in the prize is an exclusive, three month internship at London restaurant Lima Fitzrovia. Created by world renowned chef Virgilio Martinez in partnership with Gabriel and Jose-Luis Gonzalez and Executive Chef Robert Ortiz, Lima celebrates Peruvian cuisine in the capital. In 2013, under the guidance of Robert Ortiz, Lima became the first Peruvian restaurant to gain a Michelin-star.

While undertaking 12 months of study at the world renowned culinary school, the successful participant will enjoy luxury accommodation courtesy of Homes for Students.

This is truly a once in a lifetime prize worth in excess of £35,000.

And, for the first time, we will be offering a second and third prize – a place on our Basic Cuisine Certificate and Basic Pâtisserie Certificate courses, respectively.

Le Cordon Bleu UK Scholarship is open to everyone who is lawfully a resident in United Kingdom. You need to be at least 18 years old and make sure you read and understand our terms and conditions before applying.

The successful applicants will be contacted mid-April 2017 to participate in the semi-finals which will take place in London.

The Grand Final will be hosted at Le Cordon Bleu London at the beginning of June 2017.

The UK Scholarship Award is going on tour! We will be travelling the country to show you what it's like to study at Le Cordon Bleu London as our Master Chefs lead a culinary demonstration, and we'll answer all your questions about this once in a lifetime opportunity.
